Please read the following, when you place an order you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions which form the contract between us:

Ordering:

We will always do our very best to give you the most reliable and efficient service. Goods can be sent by a variety of methods to suit your individual needs or can be collected by prior arrangement.


Goods can be left without a signature by our couriers upon your request. Please indicate clearly where the goods can be left under cover in dry conditions. We do not accept responsibility for goods that are stolen or damaged once left by the couriers.

We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from goods not arriving on time however caused.

Carriage rates available upon request.

  • All UK mainland orders over £250 shall be FOC carriage.
  • All wholesale orders shall NOT receive FOC carriage
  • All orders placed outside the UK mainland will incur a surcharge a member of our sales team will contact you once these have been calculated.

Certain Items are NOT included under our free carriage rules; Forges, Anvils, Steel and Coke. These will be priced according to weight and the customer will be contacted with a quote for shipping prior to dispatch.

 

Deliveries:

We use the best carriers how will endeavour to deliver your goods in a timely manner. However, from time to time some error’s with said deliveries can occur. We therefore ask that all anomalies such as errors, omissions, short delivery must be notified to us either via telephone or e-mail within three days of receiving your order. This then allows    us the necessary time to make a full investigation with the carrier.


 

Quotes:

All quotes raised will be valid for a maximum of 14 days from date of given quote. Unless written authorisation has previously been given all orders must be paid for in full before despatch.


 

All International Orders including Southern Ireland - Air Freight & Ocean Freight:

  • You are responsible for any and all shipping fees, duties and taxes. These are subject to change without notice and will be reflected on the final invoice.
  • All orders outside the Uk will need carriage calculating after the order has been placed - We do not offer Free carriage outside the UK.
  • Loading card details with your order only authorises the order - we don not take payment at this time as carriage needs to calculated.
  • When the order has been picked, packed with weights and dimensions finalised we will get a carriage price from the Couriers.
  • Once carriage has been calculated this will be added to the final invoice.
  • The invoice will be sent over to you and then you can decide whether to pay by bank transfer or by calling our office and giving card details over the phone.
  • When payment has been taken we will put together a commercial invoice that will be loaded with the goods when booking on with the couriers.
  • We will then send you a tracking number and the commercial invoice and send the goods out.
  • You are responsible for any and all shipping fees, duties and taxes. These are subject to change without notice and will be reflected on the final invoice.
  • International shipments require special documentation such as, Certificate of Origin (COO), Shippers Letter of Instruction (SLI) or other documents. Please let us know when placing your order if you will need any of these documents.
  • Brokers are the responsibility of the person placing the order.

 

Customs Information:

When ordering products from Handmade Shoes (UK) Ltd for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Handmade Shoes (UK) Ltd, you are considered the 'Importer of Record' and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the product.

 

Back orders:

If goods are not in stock you will be contacted and offered the closest alternative, if you are happy to wait for the items you ordered to arrive, we will call you once they have. Please note that due to the current climate we can not guarantee that our suppliers will have the stock you have ordered and therefore cannot send back orders out as a 'free of charge carriage”

 

Payment:

All goods remain the property of Handmade Shoes (UK) Ltd until paid for in full, Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by the Company, the Customer will pay strictly within 7 days of the invoice date submitted by the Company We offer a prompt payment scheme where you will receive a 5% discount on all orders that are paid for in full.

We have the right to add additional charges to your account where payment is not received, such as solicitors’ fees and court letters.

We accept payment by cheque, bank transfer and all debit/credit cards. Whoever if paying by cheque we reserve the right to have cleared funds before despatching any goods. 
All prices are subject to change without notice. We will always try to inform you of any such changes.

 

Return:

If the goods supplied are faulty, we reserve the right in sole judgement to replace or refund the value of the goods. We will always try to be fair and helpful in any such situation, however, the goods must be returned to us before any decision can be made. Handmade Shoes reserves the right at its sole discretion to decide whether any goods are defective.

All goods returned must be in the same condition that you received them, we reserve the right to apply a 10% handling charge if goods are returned older than 30 days and if the packaging is not in a resalable condition.

 

Liability:

Except where the law provides otherwise, our liability to you for any loss or damage which results from the supply of goods and/or services is limited to the cost of the goods and/or services supplied.

We do not accept liability for loss of profit (whether direct or consequential), loss or damage to property or chattels, loss of amenity or enjoyment or any other loss whatsoever.

Handmade Shoes (UK) Ltd continually aims to improve our products and so design changes may be made at any time. Handmade Shoes (UK) Ltd will endeavour to keep this website up to date but information and designs provided on this website are for your information only and are subject to change without notice.

Any pictures on this website are as accurate as possible, but there are technical limitations, and due to the nature of the Handmade Shoes (UK) Ltd products and the quality of the raw materials, slight variations in colour and texture must be expected.
