Lucy's Progress

As you are now aware Lucy was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2009. Treatment began early this year and she is currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy and has five weeks to go. Lucy is doing as well as can be expected and has demonstrated courage and determination throughout her treatment.

We would like to thank everyone for all their ‘well wishes’ – we continue to be touched by your support and encouragement.

As many of you are aware we have chosen to actively support ‘Breakthrough’. Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity, which concentrates its work through research, campaigning and education. To learn more about the charity visit their website – www.breakthrough.org.uk.

Last but not least all is left for us to say (and to put in writing so he can NOT back out!!), is that Billy is hoping to run the London Marathon in 2011. Billy will be running in aid of Breakthrough and anyone who would like to join him would be more than welcome to do so (at the ripe old age of 50, he may need the support!!). We will let you know nearer the time with regards to sponsorship!
