AFA Convention, 24th – 27th February 2010

The 39th Annual AFA Convention was held this year in Portland, Oregon. 750 farriers joined together – “the lectures were packed, the Anatomy Lab had lines out the door, the contest went like clockwork, the auction was like old times, and the learning never stopped!”

Handmade Shoes visit the Convention regularly as it is always an opportunity to meet friends and suppliers in addition to putting names to faces and creating new contacts – this year was no exception! A successful trip was complete with Billy winning the Journeyman Forging and the North American Challenge Cup (for the 8th time!)
