Jim Keith has been a farrier and blacksmith for in excess of 40 years; he developed and taught a Farrier Science course through a vocational school for 15 years before beginning his own horseshoe manufacturing business. In the spring of 1999, Jim sold the horseshoe manufacturing business but retained his tool manufacturing business. A past member of the American Farriers Team, Jim is an experienced competition farrier with many successes to his name.

The Jim Keith range of tools are of exceptional quality and are extremely robust and practical.

The fullers are the top selling fullers worldwide and are used by the majority of top competition farriers. There are 4 different styles of fuller, each one is set up perfectly for its use.  They are hardened and tempered perfectly to ensure that they stand up to rigorous day-to-day use.  The fuller is sold un-shafted so that the user can shaft it for left hand or right hand (instructions and rubber tube is included).

The tongs are extremely robust, medium weight, well balanced with very comfortable oval reins.  The jaws of the tongs will not alter during everyday use no matter how hard you squeeze them.

All of the shoe-turning and clipping hammers are extremely well balanced.  The compact design ensures that they will move metal with ease.  Expertly fitted with a long hickory handle.
